Start with the experience you want
NickProGames is a game studio by dad and son Nick Polyushkin and Matthew Polyushkin. Its two games begin with different interests: Matthew’s idea for a puzzle around a planet, and Nick’s experience as a lobster diver.
Both games have direct browser play links on this website. You can click a game image to start playing, or open its overview to learn more about the idea behind it.
Choose Planet Blocks for a circular puzzle
If you enjoy looking for a piece that fits, begin with Planet Blocks. Its central idea is completing rings around a planet. The circular board changes how you read the spaces and think about a placement.
For your first visit, concentrate on understanding the board and completing a ring. Our Planet Blocks starter guide offers a few questions to help you look at the puzzle.
Choose Lobster Run for an underwater setting
If an environment to explore sounds more appealing, start with Lobster Run. Its reef setting comes from Nick’s interest in diving and the underwater world.
Take time to learn the game’s controls and look around before concentrating on an objective. Our Lobster Run introduction explains the inspiration and suggests a simple way to approach a first session.
Make it a shared discovery
Playing together does not have to mean playing simultaneously. Take turns choosing a game, compare what caught your attention, and share one thing you learned. One person might notice an open space in a puzzle; another might spot an interesting detail in the reef.
Visit the game collection below to choose your starting point. The family studio story explains how these two ideas belong to the same dad-and-son project.
